Shipping policy

Shipping and dispatch: Any shipping delays and change to dispatch and processing times are communicated in our banner:

The usual important stuff:

We currently post everything with Royal Mail and we aim for 3 - 5 days dispatch time excluding weekends, bank holidays, national holidays etc. During the holiday period our dispatch time may increase - this will always be communicated in our shop banner. Dispatch days count from the day after your order was placed if your order was placed after 12pm. Postage upgrades are available in basket if you would like 1st class or tracked options.

For custom items shipping times may vary.

Please see below for estimated delivery wait times. Please be aware that we cannot locate items that haven't been sent with a tracked service.

Estimated times for standard shipping are currently:
  • America’s and Canada: 6-8 weeks
  • Asia: 6-8 weeks
  • Europe: 2-5 weeks
  • Australia: 10-12 weeks
  • UK: 1-2 weeks
Your order may arrive quicker but we are not responsible for any delays as once we have dispatched the item it is the responsibility of the courier and we have communicated about the possibility that this may impact your order.

European shipping:

Unfortunately there have been some changes to rules and regulations for packaging in various EU countries so we have suspended shipping for many of these countries until we are compliant and up to date with the rules. This has impacted our shipping across the EU including: France, Sweden, Poland and more. If the checkout doesn't recognise your address and allow your order to proceed it will be one of the EU member states impacted. Our apologies if this impacts your order, hopefully we will be back shipping to you soon!

3rd party couriers:

For orders that use a 3rd party courier service or forwarding address - as we are not able to provide support for the final length of their journey as we can only guarantee delivery to the courier and not yourself. Due to this we retain the right to cancel and refund any orders that require the use of a 3rd party or forwarding system however we may proceed with some orders at our own discretion.

Customs and import taxes:

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We do not collect these on your behalf, Please note that the due to Brexit items going to the EU are now subject to customs and taxes that previously weren't applied. The limit and cost of these vary depending on local tariffs and item value.

All international buyers including EU and European b
uyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply, for clarity around the new BREXIT changes we do not currently collect the European VAT during the sale process so it is your responsibility to pay once the item arrives in your country as they will be posted as delivery duty unpaid as we do not collect this prior to sending. Postal operators or couriers may charge an additional clearance fee to collect this VAT and complete the necessary formalities upon importation of goods. For customers outside of the Europe this already applies.

Flutter & Fern nor it's employees are responsible for delays due to customs.

Please see our refunds and returns policy for further details on the shipping for general returns and uncollected items: https://flutterandfern.com/policies/refund-policy

As a consumer please ensure that all received packaging is disposed of in the right recycling containers as signalled on your items. As a general note our packaging is predominantly recyclable with recyclable bubble wrap and dissolvable starch void fill/paper noodles/shred.
